Las Vegas City Shuts down Endoscopy Center of Southern Nevada

The City of
City officials have revoked the business license on Friday afternoon. This was in response to the story dated last week of over 40,000 people who may have been infected with HIV, Hepatitis C and other blood borne diseases. The outbreak was from the clinic sharing vials of medication.
Mayor Oscar Goodman said the clinic’s business license would be suspended until further notice.

I had a colonoscopy on April 29, 2005 at the Burnham facility of the Endoscopy Center. Dr. Mahendra Defonseka conducted the procedure. I did not receive a letter advising me to be tested. Was the problem limited to just one Endoscopy Center or should I be tested? And is it my responsibility to bear the cost of the tests if they are to be done?
